Last Night At Cake

The $50 freeroll last night at Cake Poker attracted 14 members 3 Guests and an unwanted.

After donking out early on ( I let newbie snazzylion aka TOTALTOPS break rule 5 because A) it was a nice welcome gift and B) i feel guilty if i win forum games - he also took liberties with Hardhat's stack) I sat down to watch a great battle that ended in a near perfect result.

With just 4 players left the chip stacks were close with TOTALTOPS (newbie)just having the edge over ACE IS BACK (special guest) PSOOTY (regular underachiever) and PEPE (unwanted)

PEPE (unwanted) was soon disposed of in the bubble seat and the chipstacks were thus....



For a while none of the trio were giving much away and things seemed pretty level. Then came a big All In showdown between the underachiever the newbie. I cant remember the details of the hand(i'm sure they will though) but the outcome left TOTALTOPS seriously in the s***e.

Personaly I thought "here comes TILT game over" how wrong I was.

Newbie TOPS made on of the best short stack comebacks I have ever seen and I've made a few myself.

However a fairytale debut wasnt to be and he busted out in 3rd place winning $10. Maybe next time he will break his pokerpeople cherry.One thing is for sure he showed what a great player he is and what an asset to the forum he will be.(He has already signed up for the FSOP)

After about 45 mins we were down to two players.

I am sorry to say I didnt see much of the final Heads Up as it was the enemies birthday and I had already spent to long on line with the great guys n gals of pokerpeople.

From what I heard though it was a great battle of whits n skill which saw PSOOTY emerge as victor(bang goes the under achiever tag).

Hopefully the game will encourage our guest ACE IS BACK to join and our newbie TOTALTOPS tell all his pals. As for PSOOTY(championie) I know he is gonna stick around as he is a pokerperson through and through.

yeah cheers for the game last night i really enjoyed it.. i would say that cos i won lol....it was played proffesionally by most with some good banter and a great final table.....as for tryin to trick me by putting "ringers" or as u called them guests (but great fun) well the tag has now gone and i move up to the rank as awesome hehe.i was gonna do a screen shot but its failed me again.once again well played all
